Ayeza Khan responds to critics over playing Mehwish in MPTH

Ayeza Khan who recently played the character of Mehwish in the hit drama serial Mere Paas Tum Ho received criticism from some people for choosing to portray a character that degraded and belittled women. However, in a Instagram post which has now apparently been deleted, Ayeza hit back at those critics over those comments.

Ayeza Khan explained in a lengthy post that she is an actress takes up all sorts of roles whether one likes them or not. Her Instagram post was aimed at those who criticized the star for taking on the role of Mehwish in Mere Paas Tum Ho (MPTH)

In her post, Ayeza wrote:

Let me tell you guys one thing very clearly. I am an actor and plays characters and keep playing different characters in future. I am receiving so much love from the people around me, the hugs, the kisses, the praises I can’t tell you. Thank you so much for loving me as Mehwish

She also thanked those who supported her for playing Mehwish in the drama serial Mere Paas Tum Ho.

Ayeza recently achieved a milestone of reaching 5 million Instagram follower making her the third Pakistani celebrity to reach this number after Mahira Khan and Aiman Khan.
