Pakistani cyclist Samar Khan has apologized for using vulgar language against people of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) in an audio message that has gone viral on social media after she claimed to have reached K2 base camp on her bicycle.
“I take complete responsibility of my words but keep in mind it was a personal voice note intented for a single individual, so all of my F’s goes to him only, bkoz nobody can bring here a single public post of mine which spreads hate between GB.” said Samar Khan on Twitter while apologizing for using vulgar language against people of GB in the viral audio message.
“I offer my apologies to Balti friends whose sentiments got hurt by my words. I am grateful 4 all the love I always received from GB.” she added while pointing out that the complete message was not shared on social media but only a part of her audio message creating confusion as it was out of context.
“I wish the complete abuse would hv been shared here instead of uploading a chunk frm my response to manipulate people 4 personal sympathies.” she concluded her apology.

Samar Khan uses vulgar language in audio message
In the vulgar audio message that has gone viral on social media, Pakistani cyclist Samar Khan can be heard degrading the people of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).
She said that people of Gilgit-Baltistan are stuck inside their bubble. “You people will remain illiterate.” she said referring to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).

Ayaz Shigri Responds to Samar Khan’s Message
“You should be ashamed of yourself.” said Ayaz Shigri, the President BAATO and Vice President Alpine Club of Pakistan. He added that nobody wants to see in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) ever again.

Mansoor Ali Criticizes Samar Khan
Pakistani journalist Mansoor Ali has criticized Samar Khan for lying about cycling to K2 base camp. He pointed out that porters are available to carry items to the base camp and this is what she did as it is not possible to cycle all the way to the K2 base camp.
“Please don’t misguide people as many girls may try to cycle to the K2 base camp following your example and endanger their lives.” he added.
