Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has confirmed that customers can use bank debit cards at all its PSL retail outlets across Pakistan to provide convenience to commuters.
The development comes after several petrol pumps across the country stopped accepting bank debit cards to avoid paying bank charges. Meanwhile, some petrol stations began charging exorbitant fees from customers for the use of bank debit cards.
However, PSO has taken to initiative to make sure that bank debit cards are accepted at its petrol pumps across Pakistan. Although, the company will need to ensure that outlets are actually through and not make up excuses to customers.
