Islamabad, 7 May 2025 – In a decisive move, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) blocked 16 Indian YouTube news channels, 31 video links, and 32 websites for spreading anti-Pakistan propaganda and false narratives.
Amid rising regional tensions, the PTA acted to protect national security and maintain the integrity of Pakistan’s digital space. The blocked platforms pushed misleading content aimed at distorting public opinion and disrupting national unity.
Consequently, PTA reinforced its commitment to secure and trustworthy internet access. The authority will continue monitoring online platforms and taking swift action against content that threatens Pakistan’s national interests.
