Interior Ministry of Pakistan issued a noticed that Mobile Phone service will remain suspended in various cities across Pakistan which includes Karachi, Hyderabad,Sukkur,Multan,Lahore,Islamabad, Quetta and Peshawar on 9th and 10th Muharram from 8am to 10pm.
INCPak informed all the members via INCPak Forum on the web, interestingly Mobile phone service remained active in all the cities and members kept sharing comments about active service.
On a suspious note we contacted officials to know about why mobile phone services were active they said, The Mobile phone service was suspended only in specific areas not the entire cities for a specific time of possession.
Today on 10th Muharram, Mobile phones and internet working across Pakistan apart from some sensitive areas where service will be suspended.
