All Educational Institutes to remain closed tomorrow in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi’s Deputy Commissioner’s office has notified that All Educational Institutes including Universities, Colleges, and Schools (Government & Private) within the Tehsil Rawalpindi will remain closed on 17th September 2022 due to Chehlum Procession.

According to the Notification, On 17th September 2022, Saturday educational institutes will remain closed and Rawalpindi Traffic Police also issued the Traffic Plan on 17th September 2022, The diversion has been placed on several points

The Rawalpindi City Traffic Police has issued a detailed Traffic Plan for 17 September 2022 on account of the Chehlum Processions for the martyrs of Karbala.

Meanwhile, The Government of Sindh has banned pillion riding across the province on September 16 and September 17, 2022 (19 and 20 Safar, respectively) on the occasion of Hazrat Imam Hussain’s (RA) Chehlum.
