Amir Liaquat Hussain has caused an uproar on social media after expressing his wish for the Government to hold talks with MQM Leader Altaf Hussain.
The development came during the rally held from Karimabad to Mazar-e-Quaid on the Muhajir Culture Day. “If talks can be held with the Taliban then talks can also be held with [MQM founder] Altaf Hussain,” said Amir Liaquat Hussain during his speech.
The statement comes after the Government offered amnesty to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which did not go anywhere as the banned outfit ended their ceasefire and resulted in the killing of Police Officials who were escorting Polio Team in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The speech has caused massive uproar on social media and many people are calling for a boycott of Amir Liaquat, however, there are still many people who support for the Member National Assembly (MNA) Amir Liaquat and his views towards Altaf Hussain.
