ISLAMABAD: Enforcement Directorate of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) while conducting anti encroachment operations near Sangjani Toll Plaza on GT Road demolished several illegal constructions and encroachments. During the operation conducted on Monday at towards Taxila massive illegal constructions and encroachments razed by utilizing heavy machinery.
During this operation, 08 shops, 05 kiosks / cabins, 01 tyre shop, 06 washrooms, 06 boundary walls, 05 entrance gates, 04 containers, 01 saw machine, 06 showrooms, 03 tandoors, 02 construction material depots and other encroachments were demolished by the staff of Enforcement Directorate.
During another activity, teams of Enforcement Directorate, disconnected 08 generators placed on state land from sector F-6/2 while 02 generators were also confiscated during this activity. Moreover, during this operation, 07 security cabins and guard pools constructed on the pathways were also demolished as these constructions were affecting free pedestrian movements.
