Anti-Encroachment operation recovers 538 Kanal in Multan

MULTAN: Commissioner Multan Iftikhar Ali Sahu directed concerned departments to retrieve state owned land by launching a crackdown against encroachers across the division.

The Anti-Encroachment operation and the crackdown against encroachers so far recovered 538 Kanal land worth of Rs 2575 million.

Around 66 FIRs were registered against profiteers while 28 were arrested some Rs six million rupees fined during the month of August in Multan Division.

The Crackdown and operation will continue against illegal petrol pumps, marriage halls and marquees.
