ATC grants 20-day physical remand of TLP Chief and others

LAHORE: The Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) granted a police twenty-day physical remand of Tehreek-e-Labbaik (TLP) Chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi, Pir Ijaz Ashrafi, Pir Afzal Qadri and Hafiz Farooq ul Hassan.

In November, TLP Chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi was taken into the custody after the government started crackdown against protesters in Asia Bibi’s case verdict by the supreme court.

According to details, a total number of 2899 people were taken into the protective custody from Punjab, Sindh and Islamabad.

Last year on 16th December Khadim Rizvi was shifted in a hospital due to a chest pain complaint.
