According to some sources, Major General Babar Iftikhar has been appointed the new DG ISPR as his predecessor Major General Asif Ghafoor completes his term as spokesperson of Pakistan Army.
However, there is no official confirmation at this point.
The news was shared by Journalist Ruaf Klasra on his Twitter:
However, Arshad Waheed Chaudhry a journalist working with Geo and Daily Jang claims that the position would fall to General Anayat or General Iftikhar.
However as said earlier, at this point there is no official confirmation of the news.

Major General Asif Ghafoor also came to Twitter to say Goodbye and thank everyone for the support.
People are however coming out to Twitter welcoming the new DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar and saying farewell to Major General Asif Ghafoor.
