Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari launched the Benazir Mazdoor Card at the Chief Minister (CM) House on Saturday for the welfare of laborers across the province.
According to the details, the Benazir Mazdoor Card will be issued to every laborer in the province and provide facilities such as free education to their children, healthcare and old-age benefits.

Furthermore, the family of the laborer will be given compensation in case of accidental death as well. This program includes all types of laborers, including construction workers, hotel workers, domestic workers or anyone working for daily wages across the province.
The agreement for the Benazir Mazdoor Card was signed between the Sindh Employee’s Social Security Institution (SESSI) and the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) last year.
As a result, the laborers will get these cards from NADRA and the programme will also computerize the registration of laborers and their families.
