ISLAMABAD: Head of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) and Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Asad Umar said that there are clear early signs of the fourth wave of Coronavirus starting in Pakistan.

Asad Umar tweets about the possible 4th wave of coronavirus, saying two weeks back NCOC shared the Artificial Intelligence models in which showing possible emergence of the fourth wave.

“Now there are clear early signs of 4th wave starting,” he said and blamed it on the poor SOP compliance, coupled with the spread of variants of concern, India’s Delta variant in particular.

Field reports are showing complete disregard of the condition of vaccination for those attending indoor weddings and going to indoor restaurants & gyms. If the owners of these facilities do not show responsibility & ensure compliance, there will be no choice but to shut them down

NCOC might call for a lockdown once again

NCOC Head, Asad Umar further said, field reports are showing complete disregard of the condition of vaccination for those attending indoor weddings and going to indoor restaurants and gyms.

Earlier yesterday, Prime Minister Imran Khan held a meeting and conveyed his message to the people of Pakistan to wear a mask when out in public, PM Khan said it is the easiest and the only way to prevent Coronavirus (Covid-19) from spreading and he also argued people to get vaccinated as the rising numbers of Covid-19 Indian variant might impact Pakistan just like it did in India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and other neighboring countries.

NOTE: Please wear a mask in public places and maintain social distancing Covid-19 is not over yet and Get vaccinated.
