Coronavirus cases in Pakistan – Update [1 June 2020]

The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have spiked to 75,957 while the death toll has reached 1,617. There were 3,672 cases reported today (1 June 2020) along with 75 more fatalities from across the country.

Sindh reported 22 more fatalities today according to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. This brings the provincial death toll for coronavirus to 503. Below is a detailed report as published by the Sindh Chief Minister House Facebook account.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department reported nine more fatalities due to coronavirus according to the daily update issued by the department. This brings the provincial death toll to 482.

There was one more death reported in Islamabad according to the Official COVID-19 dashboard at covid.gov.pk/stats/pakistan. Below are details of coronavirus cases reported by the District Health Office Islamabad.

There were no deaths reported out of Gilgit Baltistan according to the Daily Situation Report published by their Health Department. There were a few more cases reported.

UPDATE: Punjab reported 43 more fatalities during the last 24 hours along with a spike of 1,610 new cases which have been reported. This brings the provincial death toll to 540 along with total confirmed cases to 27,850.

Currently Balochistan has not issued their situation report for 1 June 2020. This post will be updated with the latest figures from the province once they are made available.
