Coronavirus cases in Pakistan – Update [23 June 2020]

The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 188,639 while the country’s death toll has reached 3,752‬. There were 3,974 more cases reported on Tuesday (23 June 2020) along with a total of 64 more fatalities from across the country.

Sindh reported 21 more fatalities according to the coronavirus update by the Provincial Health and Population Welfare Department. This brings the provincial death toll to 1,124 while total cases in Sindh have reached 72,656.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department reported 12 more fatalities bringing the provincial death toll to 855 while total cases in the province have reached 23,388 according to their daily COVID-19 update.

Balochistan reported two new fatalities bringing the confirmed provincial death toll to 106 while the probable death toll has reached 75. The number of cases in the province have reached 9,634 according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the Balochistan Health Department.

Islamabad reported five new fatalities according to the District Health Office Islamabad. The death toll of the capital city reaches 106 while number of cases have reached 11,219. The following is the distribution of cases across Islamabad.

Gilgit Baltistan reported one more fatality according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the GB Health Department. This brings the regional death toll to 23 while number of cases have reached 1,337.

Two new fatalities was reported from Azad Jammu and Kashmir bringing the death toll to 20 while number of coronavirus cases have reached 869 according to the Government of Pakistan’s COVID-19 Dashboard.

NOTE: Punjab has not released any new report for coronavirus cases. We will update this post as soon as new report in released.

Punjab reported 21 more fatalities according to the daily coronavirus update by Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). This brings the provincial death toll to 1,516 while number of cases have reached 69,536.
