Coronavirus: Queen avoiding all physical contact and handshakes

Queen Elizabeth II has been put at risk of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) after the British Health Minister Nadine Dorries has been diagnosed with the disease.

The Queen is now avoiding all physical contact including handshakes at Royal Events because of Coronavirus.

These concerns surfaced after the Queen started showing symptons at an event she attended with the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The Queen is now taking precautions to remain safe by wearing gloves and avoiding all physical contact including handshakes.

The Queen has been seen avoiding handshakes at recent events like the visit of the Sri Lankan High Commissioner Saroja Sirisena and her husband Dr Sudath Talpahewa at the Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.

The novel coronavirus has infected over 126,000 people so far and taken the lives of over 4,600 people and is spreading in countries across the world.

Even the United States President Trump announced that all travel between Europe and the US will be suspended except the UK as a means to control the spread of the coronavirus in the US.

Saudi Arabia has also suspended travel to some countries today.
