A dumper truck hit a motorbike rider at Nagan Chowrangi in Karachi. The rider was injured and taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, an angry mob set the dumper truck on fire.
The mob also stopped several other water tankers and dumpers and set them ablaze after the incident. According to the police, the situation is under control; however, even at this hour, the mob continues to torch vehicles across the city.

According to official estimates, 279 people have lost their lives in road accidents in Karachi, with most caused by rash driving of dumper trucks and water tankers.
Eyewitnesses at Nagan Chowrangi said a 17-year-old minor was driving the dumper at high speed when he hit the biker, after which the mob gathered and set the dumper on fire.
