Unstable weather with dust thunderstroms and rain is expected throughout Punjab according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department in a notification issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).
There will be rain with dust thunderstorms at scattered places in Punjab from Thursday through Monday or Tuesday according to the notice by the Met Department.
Major cities including Rawalpindi, lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Kasur, Narowal, Sheikhupura, Gujrat, Jhang, Hafizabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan. Multan, Bahawalnagar and Bahawalpur are expected to experience rain along with dust thunderstorms in Punjab during this period.
The Met Department has advised the concerned authorities to remain alert and take precautionary measures to avoid any loss of life or damage to public and private property.
