The Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner has announced that all educational institutes, including schools, colleges and universities in Rawalpindi will remain closed on Tuesday (28 September 2021) due to Chehlum Processions.
“All Educational Institutes i.e Universities, Colleges & Schools (Government as well as Private) situated in the limits of Rawalpindi City areas excluding Cantonment areas shall remain closed on 28.09.2021 due to Chehlum Processions.” said the notification shared by the Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi on Twitter.

It is pertinent to mention that Punjab Government also announced a school holiday for all public and private institutes of Lahore on Tuesday (28 September 2021) on account of the Urs of Hazrat Data Gunj Baksh.
