ISLAMABAD: Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program payments have been extended for a period of 15 days till September 15, 2020 according to the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation Dr Sania Nishtar.
According to Dr Sania Nishtar, the relatives of the deceased and the beneficiaries facing problems with bio-metric verification will be able to receive their due payments for another 15 days past deadline.

Earlier Dr Sania Nisthar announced Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program payments for the current phase were ending on 31 August however, due to many beneficiaries still pending, this date has been extended.
In related news, the special assistant also announced the Ehsaas Waseela e Taleem Program earlier which is aimed at providing Rs. 8.5 billion worth of scholarships to over five million primary school students every year.
