Ehsaas Program payments underway across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Ehsaas Program payments are underway throughout the country according to Dr Sania Nishtar. Ehsaas Payment centers set up across Pakistan start operations at 8:00 am.

Dr Sania Nishtar took to Twitter sharing photos from an Ehsaas Payment center in Multan showing the smooth payment process where social distancing is being observed and women coming to collect money are keeping at a distance of one another.

Dr Sania Nishtar also made a visit to the Ehsaas Program Call Center which has been set up to provide assistance to people to get a feel for the questions that are being asked and ensured that operators are equipped with information provide assistance. She wrote in her tweet:

Ehsaas Program Helpline Number: 0800-26477

Under the Ehsaas Programme poor and deserving families are being provided a financial aid of Rs. 12,000 during these hard times due to coronavirus lockdown as many are now out of work.

Everyone can check their eligibility for the Ehsaas Programme by sending their CNIC numbers to 8171 which has been made free for people where SMS charges were being deducted earlier.

This initiative aims to help early wage earners who are facing more trouble as they can’t find work. Apart from the cash financial aid being provided, Ehsaas Program is also providing Rashan to these deserving people and registration for that is separate and you can the guide for that in our post below.
