Emirates suspends all passenger flights from Pakistan

Emirates has suspended all passenger flights from Pakistan on the account of large number of passengers testing positive after arrival to their destinations.

According to Emirates, the airline has suspended flights starting 4:00am on 24 June 2020 and the last flights operated were as follows:

  • EK607 KHI-DXB. STD 1945 UTC 23 June // 0145 24 June KHI local time.
  • EK615 ISB-DXB. STD 2205 UTC 23 June // 0305 24 June ISB local time.
  • EK623 LHE-DXB. STD 2230 UTC 23 June // 0330 24 June LHE local time.

The airline will further review the their decision to start operations on 3 July 2020.

Furthermore, South Korea on 23 June 2020 has also announced restrictions on the people coming in from Pakistan on the account of high number of cases being reported in the country.
