Faizabad Dharna ends, Govt agrees to expel French Ambassador

ISLAMABAD: Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) Faizabad Dharna (Sit-in) called off after Federal Government agreed to expel French Ambassador on Monday night.

The Talks between the Federal Ministry of Religious Affairs and Tehreek-e-Labbaik (TLP) Leadership convince the protestors by agreeing their demands on Monday night.

At around 10 pm on 16th November, Cellular Networks signals were restored in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock and Chakwal district.

The participants of the TLP Leadership at (Faizabad Dharna) after his group’s leaders signed an agreement with the government’s negotiation team.

Key Points of End TLP Faizabad Dharna

  1. The Government will send the French Ambassador back to france within 2 to 3 months.
  2. The Government will not send Pakistani Ambassador to France.
  3. The Government of Pakistan will all ties with France.
  4. The Arrest TLP workers will be freed immediately and later onwards will not lodge any case against them (TLP Workers)

The Punjab Home Department immediately issued the notification to release all the TLP marchers late at night as agreed on mutual terms.

The Commissioner Islamabad visited the Protest site (Faizabad Interchange) early this morning to ensure normal route life returns back to normal as soon as possible, directed police officials to remove containers and blockades from all entry and exit point of Islamabad.

For two days, Citizens of Islamabad and Rawalpindi remain hostage once again as if Faizabad Dharna is some sort of festive in winter which is due to happen every year.

Deputy Commissioner Islamabad ensured that Roads will be cleared within few hours right after the government and TLP Protestors agreed to end Faizabad Dharna

Islamabad Traffic Police issued the Traffic Plan to enter and exit from the capital city which caused massive traffic congestion.

Sick People were not able to reach hospitals and children were unable to reach schools, students of colleges and universities were left hopeless as Public transport was suspended in twin cities for two days.

it is expected that Metrol Bus Service will be restored and locals vanswill on their routes after a choactic days.
