Faizabad Interchange blocked by protesters

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Traffic Police updated about the ongoing protest on Faizabad Interchange due to which the traffic from Murree Road and Islamabad Expressway has been halted.

According to sources, Three Killed and several others injured in the exchanged of fire in Rawalpindi, Faizabad area, after which protesters placed the coffins of the deceased persons on Faizabad Interchanged which is causing severe traffic congestion on IJP Road, Murree Road and Islamabad Expressway towards Faizabad Interchange.

City Police Officer (CPO), Muhammad Faisal Rana on Friday took a serious notice over the firing incident in which three persons were killed and six others injured in a gun battle between two rival armed groups in the jurisdiction of Sadiqabad Police station.
