Fayyazul Hassan Chohan reinstated as Punjab Information Minister

LAHORE: Fayyazul Hassan Chohan again restated as Punjab Information minister on Monday, according to the notification issued by the Government of Punjab.

Earlier in March 2019 Chohan was sacked from this position after making derogatory comments against Hindu Community in Pakistan.

“PTI Punjab Government had removed Fayyaz Chohan from the post of Punjab Information Community. Bashing someone’s faith should not be a part of any narrative. Tolerance is the first & foremost pillar on which #Pakistan was built,” – PTI Official account earlier this year.

However, In July 2019 Fayyazul Hassan Chohan joins back the cabinet as Minister of foresty, fisheries and wildlife.

On 2nd December 2019, The Government of Punjab restated Fayyazul Hassan Chohan as Punjab Information Minister again.
