First section of Lahore to Sialkot motorway opened for public

The first section of the Sialkot to Lahore motorway has been completed by the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) and the section is now open for public traffic.

According to sources, the completed section is 22 KM long and starts Kala Shah Kaku till Road Muridke-Narowal.

The total project is 91.2 KM long with four lanes and the remaining is said to be completed and open for public traffic within a few months.

The project cost in total is Rs. 43.85 billion and includes seven interchanges including Gujranwala, Daska and Sambrial.

This motorway project will enable users to travel from Lahore to Sialkot in just 50 minutes.
