The Security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa neutralized five terrorists in three separate operations. These operations highlight the ongoing efforts to combat terrorism in the region and the sacrifices made by our brave security personnel.
In Mohmand District, a joint intelligence-based operation targeted a terrorist hideout. Three terrorists, including Kharji, known as Qari of Fitna Al Khawarij, were successfully neutralized. The operation also led to the discovery of a cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives. Tragically, Police Constable Abrar Hussain from District Swabi lost his life during the intense firefight, demonstrating gallantry and dedication.
Another operation in Dera Ismail Khan District saw security forces effectively engaging a terrorist location. Kharji Sifatullah, alias Mullah Mansoor of Fitna Al Khawarij, was neutralized, and three other terrorists sustained injuries. Sifatullah had been involved in numerous terrorist activities, including facilitating a suicide bombing attack in Daraban on December 12, 2023. He was highly wanted by law enforcement agencies.
In North Waziristan District, security forces neutralized another terrorist associated with Fitna Al Khawarij in a separate engagement.
