Kashif Rana, a very popular social media personality better known by his stage name Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, has has submitted his nomination papers for the upcoming National Assembly (NA) elections from NA-128 in Lahore.
The singer made the announcement via a video posted on social media stating that he has decided to contest for NA seat from NA-128 constituency in Lahore and his nomination papers have already been submitted for the upcoming elections.

Chahat Fateh Ali Khan is a very popular social media personality with almost 2 million subscribers on YouTube. However, it seems that the singer wants to expand his horizons and go on a political journey where he’ll be competing against Bilawal Bhutto.
It is pertinent to mention that before he became famous for his catchy tunes, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan used to be a first-class cricketer in Pakistan. He was part of Lahore’s team in 1983-84 for the Quaid-e-Azam trophy.
Afterwards, he moved to the United Kingdom and played club cricket for 12 years.
General Elections are scheduled to take place on February 8, 2024.
