LAHORE: The Government of Punjab has issued a notification to extends Smart lockdown across the province till 15th July 2020.
The Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department of Punjab issued the notification on June 30th, 2020. As the coronavirus (COVID-19) cases have increased.
According to the notification read “In exercise of power under Section 4(C), 5 (e), 5(f) of “The Punjab infectious Disease (Prevention and Control) Ordinance 2020″ Secretary, Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, Government of Punjab, is pleased to extend the applicability of this department’s order of even number dated 15.6.2020 till 12:00 AM Wednesday, 15.7.2020 unless modified otherwise.”

Last week, The Government of Punjab expands Smart Lockdown in other towns of Lahore City after Coronavirus cases were reported from these areas.
Additional Areas in Lahore to be placed under Smart Lockdown:
- Gulberg (All Phases)
- Model Town (All Blocks)
- Faisal Town (All Blocks)
- Garden Town (All Blocks)
- Defence Housing Authority (All Phases)
- Gulshan-e-Ravi (All Blocks)
- Walled City (Areas inside all the Gates)
