Another spell of heavy rain lashes Karachi

KARACHI: Yet another spell of Monsoon rain lashes Karachi on Saturday according to sources four people have died (Electrocuted) in the city.

The fresh spell started on Saturday morning as Met office predicted “Moderate to heavy” rain was expected before Eid-Ul-Azha.

The Maximum rain was recorded 33 millimeters at Malir area [Airport] followed by Masroor base 23.5mm, North Karachi 9.4mm, and Landhi 32mm.

Around four cows were electrocuted in Soldier Bazaar.

Met Office forecasts more rain on today [Sunday] and on the first day of Eid.

The new cycle entered in Sindh on Saturday and expecting more thunderstorms and rain across Sindh.

Citizens are advised to stay away from Electric Poles, Naked wires and keep sacrificial animals away from Electricity poles.
