Hospitals to display rates on website & premises during COVID-19

ISLAMABAD: The Administration of Islamabad has instructed all private hospitals display their rates and charges clearly on their websites and at prominent places across the premises during COVID-19 pandemic according to a notification issued by the Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA).

According to the notification, all private hospitals have to display hospital rates on their respective websites and the premises especially at reception during COVID-19 pandemic. This includes per day charges of bed / room of isolation area, HDU / ICU and ventilation services.

All private hospitals will be inspected by the Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) and strict action will be taken against those who do not comply including deregistration, sealing of premises or imprisonment.
