ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI: The Twin Cities to face hot and dry weather for next one week as Islamabad/Rawalpindi Weather Update issued Heat advisory yesterday.

Hot and Dry weather to continue for a week in Islamabad / Rawalpindi

HEAT ADVISORY will remain in effect for the next 7 days as the temperature will rise further with no sign of relief in sight. Dry weather will continue for the next several days. In the next 7 days, the maximum temperature in Rawalpindi may touch 42 °C while Islamabad city may witness 40 °C. There is No significant RAIN is expected.


In the first week of  June, DUST THUNDERSTORMS are in the forecast.

FORECAST: (Tonight): Skies will be CLEAR. ? ✨Mild to Warm night. Expected #MIN temp: ISB city: 16-18 °C, RWP: 23-25°C.

First 40°C of this Season expected in Pindi tomorrow. Max temp: 38-40 °C. Winds: W/NW @ 5-20 km/h, gusts up to 35 km/h.

Islamabad: New Islamabad Airport 38.0 / 19.0 ; H-8/2.. 36.5 / 15.9 ; G-8/2… 36.5 / 16.0 ~

Rawalpindi: Bahria Phase 2, 37.8 / 22.5 °C ; Westridge: 37.8 / 22.8 °C

A HEAT_ADVISORY is issued when Maximum temperature crosses 38°C. Keep outdoor activity minimum from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.

Meanwhile, The Temperature in Khanpur, Bahawalpur, Lodhran, Multan, Sukkur, Rahim Yar Khan, and surrounding areas to cross 45C today.

In Karachi: Mild Heatwave to continue and Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Badin, Dadu, Tando Allah Yar expected temperature will be above 44C.
