Islamabad High Court (IHC) also inquired whether the company owning PUBG was given the right to the hearing of the case to which the court was informed by a lawyer of the company owning the game that they would appear during the hearing of PTA on 9 July.

The hearing regarding the matter will now take place on 13 July 2020.

Many people which includes mainly parents have complained about the game and written applications to ban PUBG. These people claim that the game is a waste of time and incites violence in kids including physical and psychological problems.

However, there are still those who highly disagree with the claims and hold a very competitive argument as the game has given many opportunities to people when it comes to ESports and competitions. There are many players who stream or upload gameplay videos and make an actual living out of the game too.

Pakistani TV host Waqar Zaka has also filed a petition in the Sindh High Court to unban PUBG in Pakistan as he claims that the ban will discourage future ESports investors in Pakistan.
