Increase in petrol prices expected from 16 December 2020

ISLAMABAD: An increase in the petrol prices in Pakistan for 16 December 2020 has been recommended by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) in their proposal to the Petroleum Division.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended an increase of Rs. 7 per liter in the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) and Rs. 5 per liter in petrol price in Pakistan.

The final decision will be announced by tomorrow night after approval from the Prime Minister.

If the Government approves the new petrol prices in Pakistan, these will come into effect from 16th December 2020 for a period of 15 days.
