PESHAWAR: The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has decided to provide interest free loan to government employees of Grade 1 to 17 according to details revealed on Saturday.
According to the details, the government employees can avail the interest free loan for the purpose of purchasing a car, motorcycle or even a house.

Eligibility for Interest free loan
The Provincial Government employees with having minimum period of five years and maximum of 10 years will be eligible to apply for the loan. However, employees of Grade 18 or above can acquire the loan for purchase of a car only.
According to the circular issued, the government employees can avail an interest free loan worth Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 250,000.
The Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Abdul Karim told media that, KP Government would give Interest free loan to women entrepreneurs to promote their businesses.
Similar loan packages for government employees are expected from Punjab Government.
