Islamabad Announces School Timings For Ramadan 2023

The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has notified of revised school timings in Islamabad for Ramadan 2023. According to the details, the new Ramadan timings will be followed by all educational institutions operating under the FDE.

All single shift schools (morning) in Islamabad will hold classes from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm from Monday to Friday, while classes for evening shift schools will be held from 12:45 pm to 5:15 pm from Monday to Thursday.

On Friday, the evening shift schools will start from 2:00 pm and close at 5:15 pm.

Meanwhile, Ex-FG Colleges will hold classes from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm from Monday to Thursday throughout Ramadan 2023. On Friday, the classes for Ex-FG Colleges will be held from 08:00 am to 12:00 pm.

After Ramadan, the school timings in Islamabad will revert to normal summer schedule.

It is pertinent to mention that Ramadan 2023 in Pakistan will begin tomorrow (23 March 2023).

The School Education and Literacy Department (SELD) of Sindh has also announced Ramadan timings for schools.
