The Islamabad Police has announced a massive increase in the driving license fee for motorcycle and vehicle owners in the Federal Capital. According to the notification, there is a 25% increase in the driving license fees for both motorcycles and different vehicle categories, including small cars and large vehicles.
Furthermore, there is an additional charge of Rs. 2,000 for urgent issuance of driving license. Moreover, the notification also mentions new charges that are mandatory for driving tests, which are specified at Rs. 300 for small vehicle applicants and Rs. 500 for large vehicle applicants.

The notification directed all concerned in-charge(s)/operator(s) posted in Islamabad Traffic Police to ensure collection of the above-mentioned fee and deposit the same along with the statement generated from their respective IDs in the welfare account of ITP.
