Islamabad Electric Bus Routes Updated: New Stops Announced

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has made some changes in public transportation accessibility, few old stops have been removed and new stops have been introduced across several electric bus routes in Islamabad.

The changes aim to improve connectivity to key areas, making travel more convenient for residents and commuters.

Islamabad Electric Bus Routes Updated: New Stops Announced

FR-9 Route Updates

New Stops Added:

  • Kohinoor Mills
  • Faizabad Red Line Station
  • Sohan Blue Line Stop

Stops Removed:

  • Potohar Red Line Station
  • I-8 Markaz

FR-7 Route Updates

New Stops Added:

  • PHA Flats (G-10)
  • District Court (G-11)
  • Police Foundation Orange Line Station

FR-3A Route Updates

New Stops Added:

  • Zafar Chowk
  • Bahria University
  • Shaheen Chowk
  • Ravi Gate (F-9 Park)
  • F-8 Markaz

These updates are part of an ongoing effort to modernize Islamabad’s public transportation network and accommodate the growing demand for efficient, eco-friendly travel options.
