Islamabad F-9 Park Rape Case Suspects Gunned Down

Two suspects allegedly involved in the rape of a women at the Islamabad Park at F-9 Sector have been gunned down by the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police at a check point set up in Sector D-12 of the Federal Capital.

According to the details, the Islamabad Police was strictly checking all the vehicles at the check point set up in Sector D-12 when the alleged rapists started firing at the police personnel.

This resulted in an exchange of fire between the assailants and the police.

The Islamabad Police added that both suspects were shifted to the hospital in injured condition, however, they did not survive and succumbed to their injuries.

The assailants were wanted in several crimes, including robbery, street snatching, and the recently rape of a girl in the Islamabad Park located in Sector F-9 of the Federal Capital.

According to the police, the dead attackers have been identified as Nawab Ali and Iqbal.

There were over 60 cases registered against them for various crimes and one of them was even wanted for a murder.

It is pertinent to mention that police personnel involved in the exchange of fire remained safe due to security measures.
