Islamabad Issues Traffic Plan For E-11 Interchange Construction

The Islamabad Capital Territory Police (ICTP) has issued a traffic plan for E-11 during the construction of an interchange.

According to the traffic plan issued by Islamabad police, there are diversions placed at different points around E-11 chowk to ensure a smooth flow of traffic during the construction work.

The Islamabad police has posted a video regarding the traffic plan on social media and said that diversion has been put in place at E-11 Chowk on Margalla due to the ongoing construction work and alternate routes have been set up for commuters.

There are diversions placed for traffic on both sides of E-10 and F-10, while commuters can use main Margalla Road as the alternate route. Meanwhile, the traffic coming from ongoing F-10 Hyderi Chowk can use F-10 service road north and E-11 service road east to reach main Margalla road, which is open for traveling.

Furthermore, the traffic coming from E-11 must use E-11 Chowk-2 to get on Margalla Road.

It is pertinent to mention that no timeline has been provided for the completion of the interchange construction at E-11 so commuters may face inconvenience for some time.
