Islamabad Police started Operation in Islamabad [Latest]

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police has started operation against Tehreek e Labbaik (TLP) Protestors in Tramri chowk area in Islamabad at around 5:30 pm today.

According to initial reports, Police is firing tear gas on protestors and aerial firing gun-shots were heard dispair protestors at Tramri chowk.

The operation is expected to continue to Faizabad Interchange and Abpara Chowk as well.

Citizens are advised to stay indoors.

UPDATEDeputy Commissioner Islamabad Taramari Chowk cleared. Few policemen got hit by stones. I have had a minor injury. The overall situation is under control. Traffic good to go. Rawat cleared on GT Road as well. Alhamdulillah
