Islamabad Capital Territory Police (ICTP) has started another crackdown against cars with tinted windows to control the crime rate in the federal capital.
Taking to Twitter, the Islamabad Police said, “The use of tinted glasses can make it easier for criminals to hide their identity and activities inside the vehicle. This can increase the risk of terrorism, car theft, kidnapping and other criminal activities.”
“On the special orders of IG Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has started a strict crackdown against vehicles with black glasses.” the police added and asked the citizens to avoid using tinted windows on vehicles.

The Islamabad Police added that tinted windows are not allowed and there is no exception as per rules. “Use of such items can cause serious security hazards.” it said.
