The Islamabad Police has launched a new WhatsApp number for reporting lost and found items to expedite the recovery process.
Islamabad Police IG, Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, took the important measure and explained that WhatsApp number (0331-1114287) has been set up to allow citizens to immediately report any lost of found items.
He also urged the citizens to immediately contact PUCAR-15 and report any belongings that have been lost or found during travel.
He added that details of these items along with photos can be forwarded to the WhatsApp number so that the missing items can be returned to the actual owner.
The IGP added that Islamabad Police was trying its best to provide facilities to citizens at their doorsteps, adding that emergency services have also been integrated into the Safe City Project.
It is pertinent to mention that Islamabad Police also has another WhatsApp number to access several different services.
