Rain with gusty winds and thunderstorms is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir on Wednesday night, while hot and dry weather will prevail in other parts of the country. On Thursday and Friday, rain and gusty winds are anticipated in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, northeast Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

- Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 40-42°C on Thursday and 39-41°C on Friday.

Heatwaves have continued in the plains, with temperatures 4 to 6°C above normal. Light rain or drizzle occurred in isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan.
