ISLAMABAD Traffic Plan for Urs Imam Bari Sarkar – August 15-17, 2024

The Islamabad Traffic Police have announced a traffic diversion plan from August 15 to 17, 2024, due to the Urs Imam Bari Sarkar. Roads leading to the shrine will be closed for heavy vehicles, and visitors are urged to use alternative routes.

Designated parking areas have been arranged with shuttle services to the shrine. Stay informed through ITP FM 92.4 and social media channels for further updates.

The Islamabad Traffic Police have issued a traffic diversion plan for smooth traffic flow. The public is advised to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience.

Parking Plan:

  • Visitors to the Urs are requested to park their vehicles only in the designated parking areas.
  • All vehicles coming from Kashmir Highway will park at the first parking lot, from where shuttle services will transport visitors to the shrine.
  • Vehicles coming from Murree Road will be directed to the second parking lot near Radio Pakistan Chowk.
  • The Islamabad Traffic Police will ensure a smooth flow of traffic and guide the public accordingly.

Diversion Plan:

  • Diversion for All Heavy Vehicles:
    • All heavy vehicles coming from Murree Road to Bari Imam will be diverted at Radio Pakistan Chowk to use Kashmir Highway.
    • Heavy vehicles traveling from 4th Avenue towards Bari Imam will be diverted to use Margalla Road via Murree Road.
  • Bari Imam Traffic Diversion:
    • Traffic heading towards Bari Imam from Murree Road will be diverted to Radio Pakistan Chowk.
