Karsaz Accident Suspect Natasha Declared Mentally Fit, Discharged from JPMC

KARACHI: Dr. Chuni Lal, the head of the psychiatric ward at Jinnah Hospital, has declared Natasha, the suspect involved in the Karsaz accident, to be mentally fit. She has now been discharged from the hospital.

According to Dr. Chuni Lal, Natasha was brought to the hospital on August 19, in an apparently unstable condition. Her family had claimed she was a mental health patient, but they were unable to provide any medical records to support this claim. After thorough evaluation, Dr. Chani Lal confirmed that Natasha’s mental state is stable, and the likelihood of her attempting suicide is low.

This refutes the claim made by her lawyer that “She is unaware that she had an accident or even drove a car; she is mentally weak,” said the lawyer regarding the Karsaz traffic accident.

UPDATE: The suspect involved in the Karsaz accident in Karachi was presented in court. The court has sent the suspect, Natasha, to jail on judicial remand.

Farhan Abro

Hello! My name is Farhan Abro, and I'm based here in Islamabad. My journey in Pakistan's digital media really kicked off when I founded INCPak back in 2012. We built it from the ground up, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, to be a trusted voice for independent journalism. But while media is a big part of who I am, I'm also shaped by a fascinating mix of other passions. I'm deeply into automotive, which gives me a technical edge, but I also find my artistic expression through landscape photography and music. And I'm always diving into the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence. Bringing all these different worlds together the technical, the creative, the journalistic, and the entrepreneurial—it really colors how I see things and approach every project. It gives me a distinct perspective that I try to bring to everything I share
