ISLAMABAD: Officer Major Laraib Gill (SSG Rahbar and L/C 122) was shot dead at G-9 Islamabad in a mobile snatching incident late Thursday night.
He was killed in a single headshot injury by two unidentified persons.

Two investigation teams are formed two investigate the incident. The real cause of murder is unknown. Investigations are underway.
Nawa-i-Waqt reported he was shot when he was sitting on a bench.
The police team reached the scene of the incident immediately. DIG Waqqar-ud-din also reached the site. DIG informed two investigation teams are formed. The investigation teams will be headed by SP investigation Tanvir and SP saddar Umar Khan.
The cause of the murder will be known after investigations are completed.
Jung news has reported Major Laraib Gill was sitting on a bench of G-9 Police Quarter Park. He was sitting there with a female friend.
