In a shocking incident, the brother of Istehkam-e-Pakistan-Party (IPP) Chief Jahangir Tareen’s brother, Alamgir Tareen, committed suicide on Thursday.
According to the details, Alamgir Tareen shot himself at his Lahore residence and the report has been confirmed by his family members, including his brother, Jahangir Tareen.
The police stated that Alamgir left a hand-written suicide note citing his disease as the reason for the self-harm.
Meanwhile, the police have sealed off the crime scene and recovered the pistol while collecting other evidences like fingerprints.
According to the police, Alamgir Tareen lived alone at residence located at Gulberg area of Lahore. However, he was set to marry his fiancé in December.
Alamgir Tareen’s body was discovered by his servant, who arrived for duty this morning. However, when Alamgir did not leave his room, the servant looked inside to check up on the businessman and found him covered in blood.
He immediately informed his brother Jahangir Tareen.
Authorities have started an investigation in the incident in order to determine the factors that may have contributed to Alamgir Tareen’s decision to commit suicide.
