Justice Asif Saeed Khosa to be Chief Justice of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mian Saqib Nisar is going retire on January 17th, 2019 and Justice Asif Saeed Khosa will take charge as 26th Chief Justice of Pakistan.

Justice Khosa will assume charge of his office on January 18th, 2019.

The President of Pakistan Dr.Arif Alvi has accepted the nomination of Justice Asif Saeed Khosa as Chief Justice of Pakistan.

Justice Asif Saeed Khosa will remain as Chief Justice of Pakistan till December 20th, 2019.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar assumed his office on December 31st, 2016.

Justice Asif Saeed Khosa is the most senior judge of the Supreme Court.
