In its latest weather update for Karachi, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted another spell of severe monsoon rains in the port city from August 6-9.
According to the PMD, the monsoon currents of moderate intensity are likely to enter eastern Sindh on the night of August 4 and the morning of August 5.
The weather updated added that monsoon system is expected to bring a severe spell of heavy rains in Karachi and other coastal areas of Sindh between August 6-9.
The PMD also cautioned that heavy rains in the province may generate water-logging in low-lying areas of Karachi, Badin, Thatta, Sujawal, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allayar, Dadu, Jamshoro Kambar Shahdadkot.
